I don’t know about yours, but my family loves to play board games! In this post, I’m sharing five of our family favorite games from Amazon for your next games night. With summer in full swing, it’s the perfect time to add any of these games to your next family get together. As you all may know, Amazon is my go to for everything. I love that I can get these family games from Amazon!
SHOP IT HERE: Throw Throw Burrito
This such a fun game! It’s a card game with a twist. Throughout the game, there are three chances to play with the burritos: when it’s a burrito duel, burrito war and burrito brawl. The best part is throwing the burritos at each other. Kids will love it! Make sure you have some space for the burrito duels. There is also a Throw Throw Avocado, if that is more your style.
SHOP IT HERE: Splendor
This game is a bit more complicated, and perhaps more better suited for older kids and adults. You get tokens and on each turn you can either pick up tokens, or trade in tokens to purchase development cards. They also can get traded in for cards with points on them. The game ends when a player reaches 15 points. It’s actually a super fun game and can get heated!
3. Just One
SHOP IT HERE: Just One
amazon.com/…-One/dp/B07W3PJTL2/ref=sr_1_2This game is fun and family friendly! Anyone can play (as long as they can read and write). Players choose a card and a number on the card, all without looking at the card. Each number has a word on it. Every player then writes down ONE word to describe that word, and shows their word to the player and they then have to guess what word was on the card, but they only have one guess. There are, of course some twists as to what is allowed. This is a great party game!
SHOP IT HERE: Cover Your Assets
My sister told me about this one. Her in laws brought it one day and they spent the whole evening playing this game! It’s an easy game to learn and it can get heated as well, since there is stealing involved. It’s a quick game but the high of winning lasts a while!
SHOP IT HERE: UNO
Of course I had to include this classic! I was playing it with my three year old nephew! It truly is fun for the whole family. I love it because every family has their own version of rules on how to play. My sister and her husband both have different ways of playing and it’s so funny to watch.
What are some of your family’s favorite games to play on a games night? How do you play UNO?
