Happy first of November, beauties!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to visit Salon Era in Richmond ( just outside of Downtown Vancouver), for a VIP experience. I am super picky about who cuts my hair (hence it being super long), so when Owner/Director Ken reached out to me, I took some time to read their reviews and check out their social media. Every single review was a perfect score and after seeing tons of photos of their work,  I was SO excited to take the opportunity to visit their salon! 

I was greeted at the door with the biggest smile from Ken welcoming me to their salon. I was so impressed with the design and layout. You definitely felt like you were in good hands. (In 2016, Salon Era was one of the top 5 finalist across Canada in the Mirror Awards hair competition, 1 of top 5 best interior design salon in Canada in 2016. )

After I was shown to the VIP room (upstairs) I was seated in a very comfortable and luxurious seat. Ken then began to cut my hair. As I mentioned, I am very nervous with people touching my hair, but because of Ken’s 17+ years of experience, I felt like I could completely trust him. (Check out his long list of credits here!) 

I went in without a clue of what I wanted done. Sebastien, the colour specialist, took a look at my hair and made a couple suggestions. (Sebastien has been working in a hair salon since 1992) . Read more about him here! I decided to go with one of his recommendations-caramel and blonde highlights, which is something I have never had done, so I couldn’t wait to see the outcome!

I loved it! It was even better than I imagined! (Keep reading to see the results!)

I know they treat all their clients this way, as I was there for 4 hours and every one of their clients received the same treatment. Thank you Ken and team for such a wonderful experience! I finally found “my hair salon” and will be recommending you to all my family, friends and followers!
