How I make my periods more comfortable with Tampax at Sam’s Club

OK, so maybe you are thinking, “umm I’m pretty sure nothing can make having your period comfortable” but hear me out! I don’t know about you, but I get every symptom in the book when it comes to periods, so over the years I have learned of ways that help make me feel better while on my period.

Ya’ll know that I workout everyday, so I rely on Tampax at Sam’s Club to help me stay dry (say YES to no leaks!) and comfortable. It’s so nice to know that I don’t always have to wear my black leggings to spin class when I’m on my period! With Tampax, I can rest assured that I am protected even in my pink leggings!

I remember being in the “period” aisle with my best friend who had more experience with tampons than me, and she recommended Tampax. That was 10 years ago and I have been using Tampax ever since!

For the month of June, save $2 on Tampax products at Sam’s Club! I always grab a couple boxes to stock pile, that way I know I am good for a while (I also like to have extras cause with my sisters living next door, let’s just say they are always “borrowing” some 😉 Visit your local Sam’s Club or samsclub.com to take advantage of this great deal.

Here are a few other things that help me when Aunt Flo is visiting:

Chamomile Tea. I love to sip on a warm chamomile tea in the evening with a little bit of honey. It really helps especially with the cramps!

A piece (or two!) of dark chocolate. I used to polish off an entire chocolate bar on my periods when I wasn’t watching what I ate. Now, I love to nibble on a piece of dark chocolate. It is said to help with cramps and increase energy!

Warm towel. This helps me more the first couple days, but I like to warm up a towel and place it on my tummy while I am snuggled in bed.

Exercise. I used to think that it was bad to workout on your period but it’s the exact opposite! It helps alleviate cramps and increase oxygen supply to the muscles.

What are some things that help you be more comfortable when it’s that time of the month? Let me know below!
