Our Stay At The Four Seasons Resort Whistler

Whenever I think of The Four Seasons hotel, I think of luxury and 5 star service. I don’t think there is one Four Seasons Hotel that doesn’t meet that criteria. I will start off by saying this was our very first time in one of their hotels, and it did not disappoint! I’ll be sharing our experience at The Four Seasons Resort Whistler! These are 100% my opinions, this is not a sponsored post by any means, I just couldn’t pass up an opportunity to share our amazing stay with you!

Whistler is about 5 hours away from where we live so we made a road trip out of it. We’ve been in the summer too, and this time we actually got a little snow mixed in with some spring weather and it was actually glorious! There is SO much to do in Whistler no matter the time of year you visit! Of course, you have to make sure you have really good winter tires if you will be driving between October and March as the Sea To Sky hwy can get pretty bad driving conditions. Since we went in April, it was a lovely scenic drive up with no driving risks.

Your trip to Whistler really does start with the drive up. It’s so beautiful! You will want to have your phone out to take as many photos and videos as you can. There are plenty of view points, pit stops and coffee shops to stop by along that way. You won’t want to miss heading into the Squamish. Nestled between North Vancouver and Whistler, It’s such a charming town with lots of shopping and dining options. I highly recommend popping into Fox and Oak for donuts and coffee. Their donuts are to die for.  You can also visit the bar that is in the TV show Virgin River! It’s in Squamish and the it’s called “The Watershed Grill“. We had lunch on the patio and it was so cool!

Once we arrived in Whistler, we went to get checked in. Our room wasn’t ready yet so we left our bags and walked down to the village. (It’s about a 10-15 minute walk) so that’s perfect. We had lunch at Milestone’s and just had to stop into Pure Bread for some treats. There are so many options to choose from! Ben and I are both Vegan and felt like we had so many goodies to select from! The village is full of shopping and food choices. It’s such a fun place to explore. You have to stop into Rocky Mountain Chocolate! Get lost in the heavenly scents of chocolate and pick up a few pieces to devour right away and some to take away.

Our first night at the hotel, we changed in our swimsuits and headed to the pool! Oh my gosh, their pool area is unreal! Unlike some hotels, The Four Seasons Hotel in Whistler is literally a resort! One large pool, 3 hot tubs, a bar and plenty of lounge chairs. It actually started snowing (!!!) so we enjoyed the heated pool and hot tubs while it snowed on us. Next, we had a couples massage booked and it was so relaxing! The spa is so dreamy from the moment you enter the front room, to the serene “waiting area” and of course the actual massage. We had dinner at one of their two restaurants, The Braidwood Tavern. Again, as Ben and I are Vegan, we really appreciated the Vegan menu. But there are so many great dining options for dinner! And it was so nice to have dinner right at the hotel so we could go up to our room and unwind.

We booked the breakfast package (highly recommend) and the selection was unreal. There is something so special about waking up and heading downstairs for a full breakfast buffet with all the fixings. We enjoyed our breakfast with a view and then headed into the village for some more exploring. Because we came to Whistler for a more relaxing getaway on this trip, we headed back early and relaxed at the pool all afternoon. The sun came out which was so nice! So we got to enjoy lounging by the pool too. For dinner, we went to Earls which was amazing. The food and ambiance was perfect for a dinner out.

We absolutely LOVED every moment of our stay The Four Seasons Resort Whistler. The entire staff team was so friendly, the food was delicious and location was perfect too. If you are visiting Whistler in the spring or summer, there are tons of trails to walk, hike and bike. And of course, it’s a haven for ski and snowboarders during the winter season. I hope you enjoyed this post and these photos! Sharing a few more things you can do during your visit below!
