Monday was the first day of snow here in Vancouver which made me even more excited for our planned visit to the Christmas tree farm! It was special because it’s a new tradition Ben and I started this year. For the past 7 years we had the same fake tree and we really wanted to experience having a real one. I Â dressed warmly in my new jacket, my favorite scarf and beanie. We went during the day so we had the farm all to ourselves! It was so beautiful with the snow coming down, we could have stayed all day.
The actual picking of the tree wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be! Ben and I both had different ideas of what the perfect tree looked like. There was allot of “what about this one?” But after about an hour of searching we were finally able to agree on one and it was perfect! It was so wonderful starting this new tradition with Ben! What is your favorite Christmas Tradition? Tell me in the comments below! xo
What a perfect way to spend a snowy afternoon! I wish I could have tagged along! My fave tradition is sleeping over at my parents house on Christmas Eve!

Haha I laughed when you mentioned the difficulty in tree picking – so true! When I was younger, it took our family like an hour to pick the right one. Too many choices, right?
Looks like you had such a wonderful time, I just love the snow. Im considered a snow bunny hehe. since its my birthday on christmas we celebrate christmas on christmas eve.
I love snow too! I can’t believe your bday is on Christmas! Mines on the 26th and I thought that was bad. Hope you have the best bday this year!

Aww you look so cute! I love your little bobble hat. I can’t believe it’s snowing where you are I wish it would snow here. It’s unusually mild for December!
This is so strange to see you in a winter wonderland whilst I’m battling 40 degree heat here in Sydney!! This looks like so much fun and I’m yet to experience a true winter Christmas!

The absolute best way to spend a snowy day, it’s been years since I went to a Christmas tree farm but there’s something magical-feeling about them, especially with a dusting of snow! Such fun photos!
I want to jump into the photos and play with you! I love the happy vibes of this post and I am always overcome with your beauty and light! So, glad we are friends!

What a winter wonderland! You’re so lucky the snow is sticking where you are, I would love to pick out a xmas tree there! Also you’re dressed so cute and cozy for the winter temps. Totally true how people can have different views on the perfect tree! I look for ones that are full but still have room for ornaments 🙂
