Vitamins for hair

Happy Friday! I am so excited about this post because I have been asked a few times if I have hair extensions, or if my hair is natural, and what vitamins I use for my hair. (My hair is natural) I am always more than happy to share! I have personally used all the products in this post and would only recommend products that I believe in.

My sister in law introduced me to these vitamins when I mentioned how much hair I would lose in the shower. (There were times I actually cried). After about two weeks of taking these vitamins, I was able to see a difference already. It has been three months now and I am so pleased with the product. Not only did it help my hair stay thicker and fuller but it also helped my nails as well. I used to have them done with gel all the time, and we all know how bad gel can be for our nails.
(The gummies are super yummy! They are also available in softgels here.)
So if you are looking for a vitamin that helps your hair, skin, and nails, this is a great one to try, and it’s budget friendly as well! It’s also vegan and dairy free.

Coconut Water Hair Products
I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for the past six months, and I don’t see myself switching anytime soon! It’s an ultra-light blend with weightless coconut water, supercharged with nutrient rich electrolytes, and combined with coconut oil. As a bonus, it smells incredible! The price point is really reasonable and right now, when you buy 3 products or more, you get a $5 gift card.
Argan Oil for hair
This smoothing cream by Marc Anthony came in my Ipsy bag a few months ago, and I was so excited as I have wanted to try it for a while. I LOVE this product. I use it about once a week, and it leaves my hair feeling fresh and frizz free for a few days. I will use it when I know I have to shoot photos for my blog, as I know my hair will look its best. The OGX Hydrate + Repair Argan Oil of Morocco Creamy Hair Butter is one of my go to as well.

A few other favorites:

I used to dye my hair a lot in the past, which left my hair really vulnerable. I haven’t dyed my hair for the last few years, which has really helped my hair as well.  Whenever I use any heat products like a curling iron or straightener or any styling product, I always wash my hair at the end of the day so I don’t sleep with it in.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post! Have the most amazing weekend! xo

  1. I have super long/thick hair too and the OGX shampoo (coconut!) has been a favorite of mine for almost a year. It’s too good! I also think not using heat/dying really makes a huge difference.

  4. You have beautiful hair! Those gummies look delicious. I’ve tried the “ItWorks” vitamins, and it really did work. My hair grew over an inch each month. I’ll have to try the gummies next!
