Wedding Wednesday: Bridesmaids DressesI am so excited about this new series on my blog: Wedding Wednesday’s! Wedding season is upon us and there are so many topics to cover so April seemed like a perfect month to start. Today’s topic: Bridesmaids Dresses! I don’t talk to much about this on my blog but before I was blogging, I owned my very own bridal shop! It was a dream come true really, I loved helping brides and their girls find the perfect dresses for the most special day. I then went on to create & produce wedding shows so I am somewhat familiar with the industry! 😉

I am sure this is a given, but always shop for your bridesmaids dresses after you pick out your wedding gown! This makes it so much easier in selecting one that will pair perfectly with your dress. Don’t be afraid to mix and match your girls in different style dresses if it is not possible to have them all in the same one, it can look very pretty too!

Whether you are paying for the dresses or your girls are, there is no need to spend several hundreds of dollars on them! There are so many shops that have darling numbers like this one I am wearing from Banana Republic. Their dress selection seems endless and so affordable.

Another boutique I am loving is Red Dress, they have a great selection of dresses that would be perfect for a beach wedding or a more casual celebration.

The online store I trust most that has a great selection and all kinds of colors is Dessy.  This is perfect for brides who prefer to have their gals all in the same color/dress. Here are a few of my fave! (Tip, be sure to order well in advance 12-14 weeks!)
