Happy September babes! Tis’ the Season for pumpkin spice and fall decor and I am not mad about it one bit. 😉 As many of you know, I started a lifestyle change at the start of this year and it’s been life changing. I was feeling so unmotivated, uninspired and most of all my self esteem was super low. This had a lot to do with stress and I had gained a ton of weight the past few years. So I finally decided it was really time to do something about it.
Change did not come right away and I learned so much in the process. I not only changed the way I ate, but also how I manage my time too. It’s so easy to pend (waayy) to much time scrolling through Instagram or even binge watching shows. Not that there is anything wrong in that, but it’s not that you do it, it’s how much.
I used to wake up and immediately check my phone for emails, social media, etc. Someone once said that what you do and what you hear or see in the first hour of your day dictate how your day is going to go. And I find that to be true. If you are opening Instagram first thing in the a.m and see that you didn’t get a ton of followers or you lost followers, didn’t get the email you were waiting for etc, it can have a negative impact on your whole day.
So I started changing my morning routine and I find myself to be much more productive and happier throughout the day. That doesn’t mean that things won’t happen throughout your day that won’t effect you negatively but you’ll have a different view on how to handle it.
Here is how I start my day!
4:30am Wake up, stretch, brush teeth
5:00 Coffee and devotional
5:30 Check & return emails, post on Instagram and engage, post to blog (M-W-F)
6:30 Spin Class
